Dr. Larisa Khmil
I was born and raised in Ukraine and that is where I began my love for dentistry, while watching my father practice. I attended the University of Poltava and graduated in 1992 with high honors. That year I began my successful practice, which I had for ten years until my move to the United States. I along with my family moved to the United States in 2002 and settled in New Jersey. While there I attended NYU College of Dentistry and received a degree in comprehensive aesthetic dentistry. Throughout this time my desire always remained the same, to start my own practice in the United States. That began with my family’s move to Colorado where I attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine International Program and graduated in 2008 with a D.D.S. degree. I joined a successful practice in which I practiced in for the last several years. Alameda Dental which is my first practice was a dream come true for me and I could not be more excited to start this new adventure at Founders Dental alongside my daughter. Founders Dental is the culmination of all of my hard work over these past years and I am excited to extend everything that we offer to the people in Caste Rock.
Personally I’m married to Viktor and together we have two daughters, Anna and Tatyana. Dr. Anna is happy to be practicing alongside me at Founders Dental. Tatyana has graduated from CU Boulder and currently working. I am also a proud owner of a dog named Frankie. I enjoy yoga, snowshoeing, and hiking with my family in my spare time.
I would like for people to know that I am a caring dentist and I value having great relationships with all of my patients. I have a great ability to make patients feel at ease and comfortable and I hope I get the opportunity to show that to you. I am also fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.

Dr. Anna Khmil
Dr. Anna Khmil was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States at the age of ten. It is in those beginning years in this country where her passion for dentistry began while watching her mother, Dr. Larisa Khmil become a dentist in this country. Dr. Anna later attended University of Miami in Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Science and Business Administration and then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. Even though Dr. Anna enjoyed Boston very much, she was thrilled to move back to her home state of Colorado and work alongside her mentor and mom.
Dr. Anna is a very detailed clinician and will take the time to sit with her patients to make sure that every detailed is explained and they feel comfortable with their procedures. She enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and get updates on their lives.
In her free time, Dr. Khmil enjoys doing classes on the peloton, hiking, spending time with her family, and traveling to meet up with her friends. She, along side her family dedicate a lot of their free time to the non-profit organization, Ukrainians of Colorado, helping out their homeland.
